Amazon Sales Manager, Fulfillment Recruitment & Development in Arlington, Virginia

Amazon Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager for our Seller services sales team ( www.amazonservices.com ). This position is chartered with developing and managing a team to drive the engagement of both high value and transactional accounts while executing sales and account management strategies to deliver results that will exceed aggressive output goals.

Specifically, this individual will be responsible for managing approximately 8 individuals tasked with identifying and building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the senior management and executive teams of prospective and existing accounts, along with internal stakeholders and cross- functional teams to create and present compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.

Key job responsibilities

The Sales Manager will oversee Account Executives within the Fulfillment Recruitment & Development Team that will need to be able to work autonomously while earning the trust of their peers and Sellers, be highly motivated, and Deliver Results. Capturing the "Voice of the Seller" is just as important as recruiting new Sellers for various Amazon fulfillment channels.

A day in the life

This person will manage the team charged with recruitment and development of 3P Sellers various Amazon fulfillment programs. This person will ensure the success of their team as they balance their day with outbound calls to prospective Sellers, account management communications with their existing Sellers, and internal deep dives to resolve Seller friction points.

About the team

As a member of the Fulfillment Development Team, you will be specifically collaborating with partner /product teams - focused on the recruitment and optimization of 3P Amazon fulfillment channels. You will manage roughly six Account Executives on this sub-team, but actively working alongside peer teams across our greater Fulfillment Recruitment & Development Team.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Delivered results by exceeding sales objectives

  • Intermediate to advanced experience using Excel and MS Office applications

  • Ability to work with all levels of a Seller's organization

  • Ability to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment

  • Communicated progress reports and objectives to upper management

  • Proficiency in data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets is strongly desired.

  • Experience working in e-commerce, finance, retail technology, logistics or software industries.

  • Retail e-commerce or supply chain experience within multiple retail verticals

  • Ability to understand multiple retail business models

  • Understands how to utilize a consultative, solutions focused approach

  • Written and verbal communication skills: externally, prospective clients and upper management

  • Navigate an ambiguous work environment while collaborating and providing continuous improvement opportunities

  • Customer-service oriented

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
