Insight Global Account Manager - Mountain West in Aurora, Colorado

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Account Manager for a full-time opportunity, with an IT Services Provider. This person will manage and grow an existing book of business in the Denver, CO Metro area. They will sit both remotely and in-office, and travel to client sites for meetings on a regular basis.

This Account Manager will work on an existing book of business (around $800K in MRR, 30 accounts) and focus on building relationships with stakeholders to identify opportunities to sell into white space within the given accounts. Additionally, this Account Manager will work to minimize any client churn. This person will sell a portfolio of services in the Direct Managed IT Services space, including desktop/service desk, back-up/DRaaS, UCaaS, Managed Security Services, Cloud, Networking, SD-WAN, etc. These Strategic AM's should have prior Managed Services sales experience with some or all of the technologies listed prior.

During the sales process, Account Manager's will partner with Pre-Sales Engineers to help facilitate a technical deep-dive of prospective customer environments. However, this person should still have the ability to provide technical recommendations based on the results of discovery meetings during the sales process.

Skills and Requirements

  • 4+ years' experience IT Managed Service Sales

  • Experience managing a book of business (ideally $1M+)

  • Experience selling SD-WAN, Cloud, Managed Security services

  • Proven experience and success upselling and cross-selling within established accounts - Experience selling to healthcare customers null
