We process and analyze terabytes of data every day that enable decisions for millions of home buyers, sellers, renters, dreamers, and real estate professionals. The Role:

We’re looking for the best data and analytical minds to help lead a variety of large efforts. Real estate is the largest asset class in the world, and we have the best data and visibility into that market. To accomplish that task, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with a consumer services, business, or technology background to join our expanding Revenue Analytics team within the Enterprise Data Science and Analytics organization. As a senior member of the Data Analytics team, not only will you be building sophisticated tools, insights, and models, but also you will be a strategic member of our decision-making teams in sales, product, marketing, valuation/pricing, special projects, and more. Therefore, we want hands-on executors/do-ers/owners who also possess a strategic, business-oriented mindset.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and leverage your analytical skills to implement solutions, from process improvements to dashboards|

  • Balance a high-level strategic view of the business by conducting deep-dive analyses into inventory and overall business performance|

  • Create and maintain customer-centric and revenue-centric dashboards for key subscription products|

  • Translate key planning drivers into actionable insights, incorporating feedback from sales, for senior leadership across the organization|

  • Monitor customer churn, down-sell, and upsell, while analyzing performance across geographies and product suites.|

  • Collaborate with revenue stakeholders to develop and measure impactful sales strategies. Proactively identify potential roadblocks and offer optimization insights.|

  • Foster a culture of excellence within our team by implementing effective processes and best practices.|

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Math, Economics, or equivalent work experience required

  • Proven experience managing cross-functional data and technical projects with multiple contributors 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role using SQL and/or Python/R

  • The best candidates have some experience with data visualization (preferably tableau); analytics/data engineering and data modeling; statistical modeling and other quantitative analytical methods along with some experience working in pricing and monetization.

  • Strong communication skills as well as written and verbal presentation skills and experience presenting to diverse audiences

  • SQL fluency with experience using a scripting language like Python or R.

  • Strong Excel fundamentals a plus

  • Experience building dashboards - you know the trade-offs and impacts of using one metric versus another

  • Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong time management and organizational skills
