ReSound Digital IC Architect in Ballerup, Denmark

As a Digital IC Architect at GN Hearing, you will play a vital role in our mission of Bringing People Closer by spearheading the digital architecture, implementation, and testing of our cutting-edge 2nd generation magnetic induction (MI) wireless radio.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including digital, analog, and backend IC groups, to define the architecture of the coming generations of GN chipsets. This is a unique opportunity to enhance our industry-leading capabilities and contribute to the innovation that keeps us at the forefront of hearing aid technology.

Your role will not only require a strong drive and a pragmatic approach to IC design but also a commitment to balancing quality, time-to-market, and ultra-low power. By working co-operative with the software team, you will ensure that the integration of software and hardware culminates in world-class hearing aids that set new standards in the market.

Become a key player in our engineering team!

You will join a team of highly skilled ASIC design engineers dedicated to designing the chipset for future generations of hearing aids. Our team culture is centered on group performance and mutual support, with a commitment to excellence and innovation. We aspire to create an environment where every member’s contribution is appreciated, and where we collectively overcome challenges to achieve our goals.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Take responsibility for driving the digital part of a wireless system, based on the 1st generation of Magnetic Inductance link.

  • Advising how to design, implement and test the wireless system pre- and post silicon.

  • Work closely with the analog IC group, SW and system architects to ensure system performance.

  • Be the technical goto-person for all aspects of the digital implementation.

  • Optimizing the design for ultra-low power implementation.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Proven track record in implementing advanced signal processing algorithms in ICs for audio and wireless radio applications.

  • Documented experience in system-level modelling and simulation for complex IC designs.

  • Good communication skills both verbal and in writing.

  • Hands on experience with testing and debugging wireless radio systems.

  • Strong experience with the interface to the analog world.

  • Can work 2-3 days from our HQ in Ballerup
