At Trane, we provide our customers with a wide range of HVAC systems and solutions that reduce the energy intensity of commercial buildings around the world. From individual building owners, consulting engineers and construction contractors, to private businesses and government bodies, our customers depend on the expertise of Trane to meet their operational and energy saving goals.

As part of the regional sales and marketing team, you will collaborate with the Trane Commercial team across the Pacific Northwest Rocky Mountain to execute various internal and external communications, marketing and administrative projects and activities.

We are looking for someone who considers themselves a team player who is highly organized and is good with details. The ideal candidate is somebody who wants to grow their career with the company and contribute to the effectiveness of our customer and employee engagement efforts.

The role requires interaction with customers, business leadership and sales teams in both remote and onsite experiences. Travel to various events and sales office locations across the region may be occasionally required, as well as frequent interactions with customers and other external audiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Collaborate with regional leadership team on employee communications and activities including:

o Employee recognition and award programs

o Employee Resource Group (ERG) events and activities

o Learning and Development opportunities

o All Associate meetings and other employee events

· Lead development and maintenance of employee communications and collaboration tools (newsletter, all-employee emails, Microsoft TEAMS Channel and Sharepoint site)

· Support company philanthropic and community relations strategies and activities

· Lead event planning and coordination of signature customer entertainment and events (sporting events and seasons tickets, plan travel and reservations for factor-visit coordination, etc.)

· Provide extra planning and support for EHS leaders on various safety campaigns (i.e. 100 Days of Summer Safety)

· Manage various tradeshow graphics and other company-branded materials and gifts

· Partner with regional leadership team on additional projects, events and communications as needed (projects vary by region)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

· Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, , communications, business, or a related field.

· 1-2 years of experience; this is an entry level position

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with clients, program employees and vendors.

· Advanced copy-writing skills

· Project management and event planning

· Must be able to handle a wide work variety and work in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, and have an ability to prioritize workload.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $69,200-90,800. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
