Job Overview The Sr Segment Marketing Manager is responsible for optimizing the entire portfolio of products and services across a series of different consumer targets, maximizes revenue, reduces churn, and drives long-term engagement (re: tenure) with customers. Plans, crafts and/or produces marketing communications to implement strategies and objectives. Responsible for developing business cases for all of the products and services needed to be deployed in market, factoring in market dynamics, consumer patterns, competitive actions, retailer/channel conflict, etc. (Classification into this level is based on the dollar impact and/or complexity of the portfolio) Job Responsibilities: Develops and implements marketing plans and compelling stories for the communication and distribution of products and services. Prepares recommendations for annual business plans and strategies as well tactical plans. Partners with creative merchandising and advertising along with the agencies on creation of world-class advertising and collateral to develop best value propositions and overall marketing calendar elements. Partners with marketing planning and analysis on potential promotion/pricing strategies; business tracking and analysis; partners with Consumer Insights on consumer understanding, and with the product management team on product roadmap. The role requires strong cross functional partnership across the enterprise; specifically with sales, product management and web strategy operations leadership to ensure detailed execution and to create one look and feel for T-Mobile products and services. Responsible for identifying market size, preparation of business plans, and assists in pricing recommendations for the defined Marketing and service portfolio. Leads all marketing communication and distribution plans to include tracking of results. Prepares presentations for various audiences ranging from peers to executive level. May lead/mentor less experienced peers Education: Bachelor's Degree Work Experience: 7-10 years Marketing experience. 4-7 years Experience in one or more of the following categories: software/hardware, web, telecommunications, consumer electronics, or consumer packaged goods, with a focus on Marketing, Product Management or Sales. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
