Bardy Diagnostics, a fast-growing organization within Baxter, is seeking a talented Sr. Software Engineer to help us develop state-of-the-art wearable cardiac arrhythmia monitors and associated cloud-based software. As a member of our dedicated team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients and healthcare providers. What you'll be doing: Design, develop, and maintain secure and reliable cloud systems that maximize speed and scale Create quality, testable applications based on product and regulatory requirements Develop, test, and maintain interoperability across system components Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish lean software practices and deliver high-quality results on time Deliver design and code using practices consistent with security and regulatory standards What you'll bring: BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent 7+ years of experience designing and developing scalable web applications Excellent coding skills and proficiency in web technologies, with an emphasis in Python, C/C++ Strong experience with backend systems and APIs (REST, Graph) Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployments Knowledge of database technologies including SQL/MSSQL, Cosmos DB, Azure storage tables Proven strong design and programming fundamentals Highly self-motivated and directed Medical Device or other regulated industry experience is preferred What's in it for you? At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 to $143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
