• About BD TCI

BD, a 125-year-old global medical device company, has started its Enterprise Center in Bangalore, India called BD Technology Campus India (TCI). This Enterprise Center will be an integral part of the global network for BDX. It will have presence of R&D, Quality, Regulatory, IT and other functions. The center boasts of some of the brightest minds who work in a unique environment that fosters and supports ingenuity. • What is expected of you for success in your role?

• Coach, mentor, and improve the team’s capabilities regarding engineering, problem solving, and technical project management.

• Drive functional initiatives/improvements around implementation of system’s engineering (MBSE) and digitalization of product development processes.

• Present effectively to key leaders on strategic plans and updates.

• Identify and develop product opportunities by connecting insights from MBSE models and clinical partners.

• Manage engineering team to deliver on project goals and functional initiatives.

• Utilizing your growing network and guidance from experts to develop novel solutions and optimized processes for the team.

• Provide influential leadership to the broader team in the achievement of department, division, and corporate goals.

• Ensure that projects and products are of BD quality.

• Communicate across the organization to inform and resolve issues.

• Responsible for KDGs

• Recognized and sought out as a Subject Matter Expert across the business unit

• Responsible for oversight of work product for associates within their team.

• Responsible for development of associate career progression.

Qualifications Required:

• BS degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or other technical fields of study

• Strong technical leadership skills.

• 10 or more years of proven experience in product development

• Strong understanding of medical device design controls and requirements management.

• A demonstrated track record of technical influential leadership and delivering results.

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to tactfully advise decision-makers.

• A dedication to delivering on organizational goals.

Preferred:

• A broad technical background with experiences in product development.

• Strong logical thought process and ability to synthesize and simplify complex problems.

• Experience with model based system engineering (MBSE) software tools.

• Proficient in SYSML/UML modelling languages or analogous frameworks.

• Proven experience developing and commercializing products in the medical device arena.
