Senior Site Production Controller (m/f/d) / Supply Chain FP&A

For our production site in Bensheim, we are looking for a Senior Site Production Controller (m/f/d) who will be responsible for various FP&A activities and report to the Supply Chain Finance Director for Connected Technology Solutions. As a financial business partner to the VP Operations, you will support the VP Operations by preparing financial budgets, forecasts, in-depth analyses and recommendations for action. Excellent knowledge of SAP (FI/CO/COPA), product costing and production controlling is central to your role.

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Finance Business Partner for VP Operations: You will act as Finance Business Partner for the VP Operations (Site Manager Bensheim) and all areas of the supply chain, supporting them in strategic decision-making through comprehensive reporting, in-depth analysis and the provision of decision-relevant information. Your contribution is essential for the optimization of operational processes and the achievement of our corporate goals.

  • Monitoring of various month-end closing activities as well as the timely preparation of reports and analyses.

  • Preparation of monthly analyses regarding production costs and absorption, deviations, capacity utilization and productivity. Their work provides valuable insights for the continuous improvement of our production processes.

  • Responsibility for product costing and analyzing product costs

  • You will support site-related decisions regarding ERP data and system requirements, using your extensive knowledge of SAP ERP, particularly in relation to product costing.

  • Responsibility for budgeting and forecasting with regard to costs and investments in the supply chain, taking into account production quantities

  • Management of the inventory

  • Participation in ERP and BI implementations and upgrades

Your qualifications:

  • Completed studies in finance, controlling, business administration, engineering or related disciplines

  • Several years of experience in production controlling or supply chain FP&A and/or related experience in a production environment

  • Sound technical knowledge of product costing and production variances within the SAP ERP system

  • Good knowledge of financial management policies and procedures, accounting principles/procedures and evaluation of investment projects.

  • Very good skills in SAP (FI/CO/COPA, MM/PP preferred), Microsoft Office and Hyperion.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
