About You and this role

Dow has a great opportunity asCommercialization Engineer Consumer Solutions. Thisrole serves as a vital resource to implement business growth projects, connecting sales and Operations by managing project portfolio, applying technical skill and proper alignment among stakeholders to implement projects of new products and productivity improvement for Campinas Site.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the portfolio of growth and/or development projects by identifying the steps, requirements, and milestones as also work in the execution to the success implementation the projects.

  • Assists on end-to- end project evaluation since alignment with Commercial Team to build up the Business Case and working closely with M&E and Tech Center team on project scope and execution.

  • Elevates and appropriately applies knowledge of the plant and technology referencing historical data and conferring with Technology Center or other subject matter experts (SMEs).

  • Co-leading with the Improvement Engineer the Project Pipeline progress, prioritization, and status with appropriately stakeholders.

Skills and Competencies

  • Understands site and business integration to provide input to evolves and optimize overall portfolio of improvements.

  • Communicates effectively within the business functions, including Plant, Sales, Product and Supply Chain.

  • Strong organizational skills and able to continually re prioritize tasks/deliverables and provide tactical and strategic update.

  • Corporate core competencies in collaborating for superior results, leading courageously, delivering innovative solutions, and generating customer value.

  • Generates enthusiasm and the ability to lead and maintain a live pipeline of opportunities.

  • Typically, this role spends a significant portion of its time dealing with cross-functional activities, internal and external to the plant.

  • Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering preferred, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Chemistry degrees accepted.

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.

  • Experience in roles such as Project management and Continuous Improvement would be beneficial.

  • Fluent in English language skills.
