Cummins branch in Cestlice is part of Cummins Distribution Business Unit, organizing the Aftermarket support to our customers as well as deliveries of engines to manufacturing OEMs in the country.

Role responsibilities:

• Responsible for arranging the GL entries that are not covered by the central team as well as non- standard complex entries that require deeper business understanding.

• Interaction with external consultants and auditors on completion the annual statutory books, income tax submission and compliance with all statutory requirements.

• Monthly data extraction and preparation of data for VAT, sharing with tax consultants.

• Responsible of Monthly balance sheet reconciliations that are not covered by central team.

• Monthly closing of books on WD4 and submission to corporate.

• Supporting flow of information between customers, suppliers, and SSC where language gaps exist.

Cummins DBU organization is through exciting period of transformation. The existing ERP system is to be replaced by SAP in coming years worldwide, with fist countries schedules live in 2025 and Czech republic later on the list.

• Revising existing working procedures and proposing improvements and simplifications striving for maximum efficiency and utilization of the support from other members of the DBU and SSC Finance organizations.

• Participation on process improvement projects.

• Review of internal controls, working in Europe Internal controls team on improving the controls environment

Education, Licenses, Certifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.

• Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or similar certification preferred.

Experience

• Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
