Applied Research Associates, Inc. Joint All Domain Critical Mission Exercise and Range Supervisor in Charleston, West Virginia

Description

The Capital Area Division (CAD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Joint All Domain Critical Mission Exercise and Range Supervisor . This person will crea and implement the strategic direction and structure of West Virginia field operations. They will direct employees and third-party vendors engaged in technical field operations, including the implementation of new/improved product initiatives. The right candidate will perform and manage implementations at ARA and customer locations in close coordination with operations/deployment teams. He/She will provide leadership, business development, vision and direction for customer initiatives that support the company's business objectives and requirements. This person will determine the most effective and efficient methods for the delivery of customer service and satisfaction. The right candidate will conduct studies to determine requirements for new and/or modified field operation tactics to improve field operations' impact. This person will also responds= to RFP/RFI/RFQs and participates in the bids and proposals process.

Essential Functions

Leads the Field Service and Engineering Office, Charleston, WV. In charge of operational support, field engineering, services, range management, senior leader liaison, business development. Leads the Critical Mission Rehearsal (CMR) and Exercise Program for the West Virginia National Guard (WVNG). Manages portfolio for scheduling all exercises, range control, test and evaluation, test article usage, mission rehearsal scenario development and execution through the WVNG with United States Special Operations Command. Provides direct support to subunits such as MARSOC, AFSOC, ARSOC, 160th AVN, NSW, Other Government Agencies (OGA), other specially designated units. Provides expert advice, analyses, and assistance in carrying out designated exercise, testing, training responsibilities. Coordinates with Senior State and Federal officials, contractors, sub-contractors, senior SOF personnel, units, and facility managers for the coordination and use of target areas during the conduct of mission rehearsals and Full Mission Profiles (FMP).

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a current and active Top Secret/SCI security clearance

  • 15 years of experience in personal security, terrain analysis, facility analysis, range operations, Test and Evaluation in support of Special Operations Forces.

  • 5+ years of experience directly supporting the West Virginia National Guard (WVNG), Ridge Runner, Ridge Healer, and FMP exercises for Special Operations in West Virginia.

  • Expert understanding of local geology, terrain characteristics, mining, sub-terranean access in West Virginia in support of Critical Mission Exercises.

  • Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts in an accredited university, and/or 20+ years expertise and experience supporting Special Operations Forces, Irregular Warfare, Training, Testing, Exercises Support, Contract Execution.
