Google Go-To-Market Strategy and Operations Senior Associate in Chicago, Illinois

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and navigating and influencing personalities within a business environment.

  • Experience influencing and advising executives.

  • Experience working for technology/media companies or consulting firms.

  • Experience in Sales or Strategy in traditional or digital advertising.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail while handling multiple projects under deadlines.

The Go-to-Market Strategy & Operations team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

As the Go-To-Market Strategy and Operations Manager, you will partner with the Director of Data, Measurement, and Analytics and will lead projects to drive strategy and improve the operations of the Large Customer Sales organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Drive operational logistics for partner teams, including resource allocation, engagement models, joining/driving weekly management meetings, setting KPIs, and measuring progress/identifying opportunities to improve performance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve sales team efficiencies, and lead efforts to scale best practices across Sectors.

  • Drive annual and quarterly planning/updates for the Data, Measurement and Analytics team.

  • Participate and help support global initiatives and ensure that global initiatives are presented to the specialist team/sector.
