Job Description

A company in Cincinnati, OH is looking for an SDET to work closely with management and Automation Engineer III by assisting in defining and optimizing the automation design and related implementation for the test automation framework, standards, guidelines and support/coaching of peers and more junior Automation Engineers.

The scope of Functional Test Automation includes User Interface (UI) Automation and API test automation. This role plays crucial role in ensuring the quality & sustainability of the Test Automation Standards and Guidelines.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for hands on development of Functional Test Automation scripts for UI and API testing.

• Help lead test automation initiatives, support the design and development of robust, maintainable, scalable and sustainable scripts using automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, Git, Maven, IntelliJ; Programming languages such as Java, .Net, C#, etc.

• Support of the API and UI test automation framework by identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiencies.

• Identify and develop opportunities to enhance testing efficiencies, process quality, and implementation of innovative solutions as part of continuous testing within the software delivery pipeline.

• Collaborate with automation and non-automation Software Quality resources along with other key stakeholders such as development, business analysis, and project management teams

Skills and Requirements

5+ years hands-on experience in software test engineering

3+ years of hands-on experience Selenium (Test Automation Framework)

2+ years of hands-on experience programming in Java

2+ years of hands-on experience in UI Path and API Testing (ReqdyAPI, SOAPUI, Postman)

1+ years of database experience testing using SQL retrieve and /or setup use of test data C#/.NET Programming experience null
