Emerson Business Analyst Time Entry System in CIUDAD DE MEXICO, Mexico

This position provides front-line technical support and solution to internal clients that have enabled Kronos Time and Attendance (T&A) software and time clocks. This person engages clients through service interactions to identify opportunities to enhance or improve performance and utilization of the product, according to Global HRIS strategy.

This position is also responsible to ensure Emerson is achieving the desired levels of service and to implement quality control measures to meet business expectations. Also, this position is expected to follow and enforce federal, state, and local regulations to be in full compliance.

Principal Functional Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge and skills to serve as the T&A level 2 Subject Matter Expert through comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the system capabilities

  • Assess technical situations and establish case priorities/severities in accordance with the service level agreement.

  • Provide training or retraining for client users as needed.

  • Support payroll process and calendar

  • Conduct Service Reviews with business stakeholders

  • Identify and analyze root causes of issues and provide appropriate resolutions

  • Interact with HRIS team members and stakeholders to ensure proper solution functioning and integration with HR and Payroll systems

  • Provide input to the implementation team with an operational perspective that could help reduce errors and decrease system changes in production

  • Escalate potential service issues to Time System Partner

  • Create required operational process and practices

  • Identifies and maintains lessons learned process and ensures implementation of appropriate action items to drive continual improvement.

Education

Completion of a bachelor’s degree in a Business, IT, Human Resources, Financial or a related field, or equivalent experience

Experience/Skills

  • 2+ years hands-on experience in Time & Attendance or Time & Labor Management software. Kronos or eTime Time System preferred

  • Experience in a customer support environment

  • Experience with running payroll and understanding of HR functions

  • Skill in both written and verbal communication

  • Service and Milestone oriented with a sense of urgency in meeting goals

  • Analytical Skills. Identifies significant problems and opportunities. Analyzes problems in depth. Relates and compares data from different sources.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize team tasks appropriately

  • Interacts with other team members and creates a positive and productive team dynamic

  • Intermediate level of English
