Summary

A Manual Machinist has an in depth knowledge of manual mills, lathes, tool making, tool sharpening, and grinders.

They are able to interpret drawings and prints; uses mathematical skills to determine measurements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Use company-supplied machines including manual based mills and surface grinders.
• Sharpen, shim, replace and fit  parts to specifications
• Follow direction from plant manager and supervisors in order to facilitate production needs
• Maintain a clean work space and properly clean and maintain work equipment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manual machining experience
