The Cybersecurity Cloud Architect Principal position focuses on designing and supporting cloud computing and related services for large scale enterprises. A successful candidate will partner with application owners and enterprise service providers to design identity and access management controls for internally and externally hosted applications.

The position is 50% security architecture, 30% technical leadership, and 20% research and development. The individual works with project delivery and enterprise architecture teams to set standards, provide leadership, and be the final approval from a security perspective on projects and standards.

• Ability to collaborate with leaders and team members at all levels and across functional lines

• Demonstrates experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships

• Critical thinking skills and does not hesitate to question status quo

  Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• 7 years of information security experience, including 4+ years cybersecurity architecture

• 7 years of experience delivering technology solutions in large-scale complex organizations

• 5+ years for one or more of AWS, GCP, or Azure IaaS and PaaS architecture or engineering experience

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop innovative solutions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Deep understanding of cloud computing, specifically IaaS and PaaS offerings from major providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP

• Strong foundation in Cybersecurity principles – data protection, encryption, network security, IAM, SecOps, etc.

• Experience influencing management on technical or business solutions

• Able to manage simultaneous multiple complex tasks and to bring activities to closure

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

• Cloud focused certifications from AWS, Azure or GCP

• Experience architecting security solutions for financial services corporations

• Familiarity with financial services compliance regulations, and IT frameworks and standards

• Offers insights into cloud services, security features, potential vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies

• Architecture/design skills, ability to map security controls to enterprise HNB standard requirements
