The Role

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support our three Danish Abbott entities. In this role you will be responsible to run the payroll function for Denmark but also take care other financial and administrative tasks across the Nordic region. In addition to this, you will belong to the Nordic CFS team (Corporate Finance Services) and participate in multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Run the payroll function for employees in the three Danish Abbott entities, including HCP payments. Approximately 90 employees

  • Secure that new legalisation impacting Danish payroll is gathered externally and properly implemented based on agreement with CFS and/or BHR.

  • Monthly payroll related reconciliations and other tasks

  • Main point of contact for payroll related matters as part of internal & and external audits.

  • Car administration

  • Non payroll related tasks in Denmark and other Nordic countries based on organizational needs

  • Update master data in the payroll system

  • Add and delete employees in our Pension supplier portal

  • Prepare upload files for Bonus, Awards, Vacation/absence, dividends, allowances, car allowances, company car taxation, RSU/dividends

  • Prepare JE for monthly payroll cost and vacation accrual

  • Payroll reconciliation

  • Provide ad hoc reports to HR, SSO, EHS-Car administration etc.

  • Administration of our Employee Stock Purchase Plan

  • Request sick pay to the authorities

  • Compliance check for HCP payments

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years relevant working experience

  • Good command of Excel, experience with SAP is a plus

  • Experience with VismaLøn is beneficial

  • Be updated on payroll related legislation

  • Strong attention to details

  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders of different seniorities

  • Fluency in Danish or another Scandinavian language as well as English (written and verbal)
