Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Cranston, Rhode Island. This role involves managing the accounts payable duties in our company, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining up-to-date account records. You will also be expected to perform account reconciliations and handle data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accurate processing of invoices and other accounts payable documents

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate

• Conduct checks runs to ensure timely and efficient payment to vendors

• Coding invoices accurately to ensure proper account classification

• Handle data entry tasks related to accounts payable

• Use your skills in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various financial tasks

• Process and record transactions in a timely and accurate manner

• Handle invoice processing and assist in the disbursement of payments

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks and SAP

• Competency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and financial calculations

• Experience with account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Ability to handle check runs for payment disbursement

• Experience in coding invoices for proper categorization and tracking

• Proficient in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience in invoice processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments

• Ability to manage cash disbursements to maintain appropriate cash flow.
