The Raymond Corporation is internationally recognized for helping the biggest companies in the world optimize supply chains. We develop and deploy software for forklift operator User-Interface (UI), warehouse management, productivity monitoring, and driver training aides. Our software creates, curates, and innovatively presents data to facilitate successful warehouse operations.

To continue to support our award winning software, we need Software Quality Engineers, that will create software vehicles that support the testing of our software. These vehicles can be written in a variety of different languages, and the needs range from simulating simple serial traffic, to large scale warehouse emulation for our Real-Time Locating System.

About the position:

We’re looking for a Software Quality Tools Engineer to join the Raymond team! You will:

  • Be allowed to use variety of programming languages that best suit the problem at hand.
  • Create and modify current testing tools to automate processes where possible.
  • Ensures that each stage of the test plan is executed with software tools, and tool has variation (Monte Carlo method) to fully stress the designed software.
  • Creates user interface that allows test technicians to execute selected tests and get meaningful results.
  • Develop accurate reports and documents test results for various stakeholders.
  • Perform defect reproduction, verification of resolved issues, and developer support.
  • Assist in design reviews of requirement specifications.
  • Assist in code reviews of application developers.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or greater) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience and/or a master's degree in the fields above.
  • Experience with either Python, C#, Java, SQL in an PC environment.
  • Experience with building web services using API / REST.
  • Object-Oriented Design experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as a team setting, inquisitive, data-driven, flexible, adaptable, dependable, and eager to deliver timely results despite challenges.

It would be great if you had:

  • Unit testing and regression testing tool chains experience.
  • Experience with embedded microcontrollers / Linux Development environments.
  • Software development experience with C/C++.
  • Experience using embedded software development toolchains such at Matlab Simulink, StateFlow, PolySpace, dSPACE, VectorCast etc.
  • Familiarity with some of these tools: National Instruments tools Labview, VeriStand, cRIO, PXI;;
  • Experience with CANOpen, CANoe, CANalyzer

About the total compensation package:

Salary - $80,000 - $114,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.

Relocation – This position may qualify for relocation.
