Job Description

Our Saatchi LA & Dallas offices are looking for college seniors and recent graduates who are eager to learn and gain experience with real client work at an agency! Saatchi’s Summer Internship is a paid 8-week hybrid program from June 17th to August 9th, providing lessons from various departments at an agency, opportunity to work alongside and gain mentorship from advertising professionals and leaders, in addition to working on real client work.

As an intern, we expect you to give us your energy, enthusiasm, and thirst for knowledge, and we'll give you a hands-on, insider introduction to working at this advertising agency! As a Junior Art Director , here’s what you’ll do:

• Art director will be shadowing and assisting other members from the Digital Content team

• Collaborate and partner with your cross functional team including strategy, media and production

• Confidence in concepting and creating layouts and giving presentations

• Work with Platform creatives to produce mock-ups and proof of concepts

• Create/Assist in the development of conceptual presentation decks

• Contribute to brainstorms

• Learn about the entire digital content production process

• Evaluating client and product needs

• Opportunity in attending photoshoots

Qualifications

We are looking for interns who possess a problem-solving mentality, have leadership and collaborative qualities, and express curiosity within and beyond their role and team. We encourage you to apply if you have:

• Passion and interest in digital marketing and advertising industry

• Capacity to learn, grow and improve on feedback as necessary

• Excellent organization and time management to prioritize workload and multi-task

• Inquisitive and unafraid to ask questions

• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Suite and Figma

• Ability to apply critical thinking and problem solve

• Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to handle confidentiality

• Strong portfolio that represents design work through various mediums and accomplishes clients’ goals

Education

• Rising college/university senior or 2024 graduates with/working towards a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field

• Previous internships are a plus but not required

Compensation Range: $15.38 - $22.36/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. This role may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
