Company Overview: As a Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Management Consulting firm focused on assisting our commercial and U.S. Intelligence Community clients proactively mitigate threats, RedTrace Technologies is seeking talented and innovative team members to join us in support of an exciting information operations, intelligence analysis, and cybersecurity requirement at Fort Belvoir, VA. Candidate must be a US citizen and have an active Top Secret Clearance with eligibility to obtain SCI and obtain and maintain a CI Poly.

Position Description: 

RedTrace Technologies is looking for a Back End Software Engineer to develop software and systems from vision to production. As a full stack developer, you will be able to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You will help the client overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. Additionally, you will ensure solutions developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. This is a full time, on-site position, with limited or no opportunities to telework.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework and developing across an entire stack of technologies, including full-stack development

  • 1+ years of experience with programming, scripting, or markup languages, including Java, JavaScript, Bash, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Python, Golang, C, C++, C#, XML, HTML, JSON, or YAML

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services w/ AWS certification

  • Experience with Linux and command-line interfaces

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series Certification for IAT Level II within 90 days of hire

  • Experience with CentOS or RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes

  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and network technologies, including DNS, Load Balancing, and TLS
