Business Operations Project Manager

Location: Frisco, TX or Atlanta, GA

SUMMARY

In support of NCR Atleos’ vision of setting the highest standards in self-service financial solutions, the Business Operations team is looking for an experience project management professional to oversee a variety of projects and initiatives, ranging from transformational to maintenance centered. In an environment that prioritizes continuous improvement, this individual will organize, facilitate, and drive accountability among cross-functional teams to achieve prescribed results that aspire to best-in-class operations and optimal performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)

  • Define and document project scope, objectives, and desired outcome.

  • Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally

  • Prepare a budget based on project scope.

  • Set and adhere to budgetary allocation.

  • Onboard project team members, and provide training and coaching, if needed

  • Estimate resource requirement, acquire it effectively and manage efficiently.

  • Design work plans for team members based on requirements and member expertise.

  • Provide project updates to stakeholders as per demand and requirement.

  • Manage participants for timely delivery of tasks, milestones, and outcomes.

  • Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas for improvement.

  • Be aware of industry best practices, techniques, and standards, and encourage team members to use them for effective project execution.

  • Track project performance periodically to ensure achievement of both short-term and long-term goals.

  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation.

  • Undertake risk management to minimize potential risks.

  • Use the right tools and techniques for easier project management.

  • Ensure project delivery is on time, as per scope and within the allocated budget.

  • Manage interdepartmental coordination to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Expert organizational and time management skills

  • Demonstrate good analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify cause and effect and communicate results in a structured manner.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Enthusiastic team player, but also capable of working independently.

  • Self-motivated, to identify opportunities for optimization of business practices.

  • Comfortable working in an environment that is fluid with rapidly shifting priorities.

  • Strong sense of accountability for successful outcomes

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Confidence in communicating with individuals with a variety of accents.

TOOLS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Highly Proficient in MS Project and PowerPoint

  • Experience working within an Enterprise PPM and CRM tools.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 7-10 years’ experience

  • 5 years’ experience with PMI certification
