We're on the hunt for a Senior Product Manager (Technical) with a flair for innovation and a passion for energy data transformation.

Key job responsibilities

In this dynamic role leveraging the OSDU Data Platform, you will pioneer product management that redefines how the energy sector leverages data on AWS.

As our Sr. Product Manager, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated cross-disciplinary team to conceptualize, design, and deliver groundbreaking energy discovery and optimization experiences, championing customer-centric solutions in a rapidly evolving industry.

Take command of user product journeys, guiding the evolution from big ideas to impactful reality.

Champion our commercial product vision, within our dynamic teams and among external stakeholders.

Collaborate with our customers, partners, and engineering team to manage a product roadmap and backlog that balances innovation for developer and customer experience and the Open Group functionality.

Lead specifications for the EDI's new subsurface features, raising the bar for the future of energy data exploration and analysis.

Craft compelling product narratives (PRDs and Amazon PR-FAQs) and orchestrate seamless cross-functional communication and collaboration.

A day in the life

Navigating the cutting edge of energy transformation, the Energy Data Insights technical product manager prioritizes the integration of the OSDU Data Platform with AWS services alongside commercial differentiators, orchestrating complex data workflows to drive efficiency and innovation for customers. Every day is about cross-functional collaboration, strategizing with engineering builders and customer stakeholders to turn vast streams of subsurface data into actionable and valuable insights, ensuring that the platform not only exceeds the current industry data management demands but raises the bar for advancements in Generative AI and HPC.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
