Job Description

Insight Global seeks a QA/Automation Developer to join one of our electrical distributor clients in Irving, TX. The team will work alongside the client's teams to build, implement and test existing and new employee service applications.

You'll collaborate daily with your colleagues to champion a "built-in quality" mindset. Your ability to automate test and analysis processes -- from first build to deployment - will help the team maximize both effectiveness and quality.

Key Job Responsibilities

* Partner with teammates to define procedures, plans and metrics that promote product quality

* Lead the development of automated build, analysis and test pipelines.

* Promote a test-first mentality in the team to minimize escaped defects

* Participate in solution designs to ensure the address aspects of testability, performance and stability

* Embrace the collaborative, continuous-improvement mindset that is foundational to Scrum

Skills and Requirements

* 5-7+ years of experience working as an SDET

* Demonstrated proficiency in automation scripting with C#

* Familiarity with testing frameworks, such as Selenium or Playwright

* Experience with Test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD)

* Prior work on a cross-functional Agile development team (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

* Version control systems (preferably Git)

* SQL Server (complex joins, inserts, updates)

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field null
