Position:

Business Unit Manager

Job Description:

As a Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and enhancing relationships with key positions in specific distributors and their top branches, utilizing solution-selling distribution models across various verticals. This role involves collaboration with MDMs, BDMs, AMs, and Manufacturer Representatives to optimize distribution channel efficiencies. You will be an integral part of the Microsoft Cloud team, driving strategic business development initiatives.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Utilize existing relationships within distribution partners to identify and leverage new business opportunities.

• Develop and implement Sales Strategies and Programs tailored to distribution partners.

• Facilitate Quarterly & Annual Reviews, setting direction, directives, and mutually agreeable action items.

• Keep distribution partners informed on pricing, marketing, and sales initiatives.

• Share responsibility for the overall profitability and growth of the business unit.

• Participation in a sales compensation plan with a variable portion tied to specific sales-related goals.

Job Complexity:

• Guide others in resolving complex issues within the specialized area.

• Serve as an expert in business development.

• Act as a resource for best practices/quality on functional teams or projects.

• Train and mentor junior staff.

Experience and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in business development.

• Proficient in planning and developing partners and customers, including conducting trainings, education, and customer workshops.

• Minimum of a few years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in Swedish and English is essential.

• Familiarity with Microsoft environment, including Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Experience in Microsoft SAP would be a plus.
