Description

Robert Half is partnering with a rapidly growing real estate company in their search for of an experienced Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will be tasked with maintaining the general ledger for multiple companies, overseeing financial and tax reporting processes, and collaborating with property managers on budgets and CAM reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present monthly financial reports in a timely manner.

• Record monthly journal entries for accrual and cash basis accounting.

• Manage payables and receivables for assigned entities.

• Maintain accounting workpapers for all balance sheet accounts.

• Ensure adherence to appropriate accounting processes and internal controls.

• Assist in preparing property budgets.

• Analyze and document acquisitions and dispositions.

• Review and assess monthly third-party financial reports.

• Conduct CAM estimates and reconciliations.

• Calculate and process investor distributions.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Real Estate Accounting.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• Preferred experience with Yardi (2+ years).

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is advantageous but not required.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with executives and external tax and audit consultants.

• Demonstrated initiative and action-oriented approach.

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
