I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.

The Associate Account Manager will support the goals of the Partnerships Team. He or she will be responsible for helping to grow our commerce business by maintaining key client relationships, identifying new partnership opportunities, pitching, and managing paid partnerships, and helping to grow network and agency relationships. This person will manage brand partnerships to coordinate affiliate content opportunities, maintain the current client base, and identify and develop new client relationships to extend the marketing/sales reach and revenue performance. The Associate Account Manager will serve as a point person between network/agency/client personnel and the Dotdash Meredith Editorial team, interacting extensively with all parties. The right candidate must be a self-motivated multitasker with strong analytical skills. Knowledge of the commerce and digital media landscape is a plus.

II. Essential Job Functions

- Manage brand partnerships to help coordinate affiliate content opportunities.

- Support the workflow process to help connect Commerce editors with the affiliate team to streamline new partner requests, commission increases, and sample requests.

- Negotiate competitive commission rates with partners.

- Ensure clear understanding and interpretation of client needs and recommend Commerce solutions to meet client goals; Generate client packages, proposals, and campaign recaps.

- Monitor competitive media for new leads.

- Participate in key industry conferences and events.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.

- Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred with an emphasis in business/marketing or communications or equivalent education and/or experience.

- Experience:

* Proven successful sales experience in a digital environment. Proven successful negotiation experience.

* Proven successful knowledge/experience working with a digital editorial team.

* 3+ years of experience in online/digital marketing or growth marketing.

* Affiliate marketing experience and proficiency with major affiliate networks are a plus.

* Strong inclination for analyzing data.

- Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Knowledge of online/digital and interactive advertising and affiliate marketing tools.

* Strong oral, problem-solving, communication, writing, negotiation, and presentation skills.

* Must be well organized, display a professional demeanor, exude high energy, and show attention to detail.

* Must be a confident, flexible, multi-tasker, and be able to work independently.

Pay Range

Salary: $62,400 - $80,000

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees.
