As a Client Strategy Manager on the Finance Performance Marketing Team, you will be responsible for managing the success of performance marketing partnerships. Using an analytical mindset while remaining solutions-oriented, you will assist top partners across multiple lines of business and work to achieve their advertising goals. As the primary point of contact for all partnership related inquiries, both internally and externally, the Client Strategy Manager will remain up to date on all of the partners goals and metrics. In this role, you will be a crucial part of the growth and overall success of the Performance Marketing Team and Dotdash Meredith as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Diligently monitor campaigns, proactively identify areas of opportunity or risk, and resolve potential issues

  • Communicate directly with partners and provide first-class service in reaching their performance goals

  • Liaise with Performance Marketing Product, SEO, and Editorial teams in ensuring consumer experiences deliver on client goals

  • Monitor performance and maintain positive relationships with our partners

  • Run weekly meetings to review metrics and provide optimization & content recommendations

  • Contribute to the monthly revenue forecast reporting, end-of-month billing, and 3rd party reconciliation

  • Partner with sales team on helping communicate the value of performance marketing campaigns to existing and prospective partners

  • Work within and utilize media planning tools & ad serving platforms (Google Ad Manager, MediaAlpha) to drive key insights and strategies

Requirements

  • 3-4 years digital media and/or account management experience

  • Experience in Performance Marketing and/or Affiliate Marketing strongly preferred

  • Experience working with clients in the Financial Services vertical strongly preferred

  • Experience within affiliate platforms (i.e. Impact Radius, Commission Junction, Rakuten) is a major asset

  • Prior experience with Looker and Google Analytics a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Able to manage multiple projects and campaigns with conflicting priorities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Must be a self-starter; able to work with minimal supervision to initiate and complete tasks

  • Ability to develop cooperative working relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders

  • Familiarity with data visualization and database tools such as Looker, Google Analytics, Semrush

  • Familiarity with ad serving platforms (Google Ad Manager, MediaAlpha)

  • Must be enthusiastic, friendly and work well under pressure

Pay Range

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees.
