Camping World IT Manager, Payroll (remote) in Lincolnshire, Illinois

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager or IT Senior Manager with payroll implementation experience to join our team. As the IT Manager, Payroll you will play a key role in the development of our time and payroll strategy, while leading the implementation and continuous enhancement of our time and payroll system functionality

In this role, you will work closely with the IT, Payroll, and HR teams, supporting payroll processes, systems, time applications, and relevant interfaces. Your experience and expertise in working with Payroll processing companies like ADP, Ceridian, etc. will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of our payroll operations. Additionally, experience with managing in-house payroll processing systems like Workday Payroll, SAP payroll, PeopleSoft Payroll is highly valued. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with the payroll team to support end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

  • Lead the implementation and management of payroll software, including software and regulatory updates. Proactively seek avenues for adopting best practices and innovative approaches to addressing problems and facilitating change in payroll and time processing.

  • Oversees the conception, implementation, and analysis of multiple enterprise solutions projects with large scope and complexity in an environment for business change.

  • Focused on consistency, and quality in the implementation of process and is involved in post-implementation support by working closely with payroll processors such as ADP, Ceridian, etc. acting as the main point of contact and providing technical guidance and support.

  • Manage Time and payroll system interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with other HR and finance systems.

  • Collaborate closely with IT leadership and teams on implementations, enhancements, updates, and automation initiatives geared towards streamlining payroll processes.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for payroll systems, resolving issues and escalations in a timely manner.

  • Conduct regular audits and data validation to ensure data integrity and compliance with payroll regulations.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and legislation related to time and payroll processing to ensure compliance and optimize processes.

  • Experience in implementing in-house payroll processing systems like Workday Payroll, SAP Payroll, PeopleSoft Payroll is a plus.

What You'll Need to Have for the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (8-10 years) as an IT Manager Payroll or similar role, preferably in a large organization.

  • Must have previous HCM (Human Capital Management), Payroll and Timekeeping Systems experience.

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in using payroll processing systems such as ADP Ceridian, etc..

  • Implementation experience and managing experience with in-house payroll processing systems like Workday Payroll, SAP Payroll, PeopleSoft Payroll, etc. is highly desirable.

  • Excellent understanding of time processes, payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, data archiving, reporting, and problem-solving.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple implementations, and meet deadlines.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment..

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Certifications in payroll processing or related fields are a plus.

General Compensation Disclosure

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.

Pay Range:

$131,145.00-$196,665.00 Annual
