Robert Half is seeking a skilled and versatile Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team! In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of our critical IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, storage, and data backups. You'll wear many hats, troubleshooting issues, implementing new technologies, and ensuring our systems run efficiently and reliably to support our business needs.

Responsibilities:

Server Management & Maintenance:

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (on-premises or cloud-based).

• Perform routine server maintenance tasks (e.g., patching, updates, backups).

• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

• Manage user accounts, access controls, and disk space allocation.

Operating Systems Expertise:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux distributions).

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies.

• Automate tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).

Storage Management:

• Implement and manage storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Configure and manage storage quotas and backups.

Security & Compliance:

• Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

• Stay up-to-date on security best practices and vulnerabilities.

• Assist with ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.

User Support:

• Provide technical support to users experiencing system-related issues.

• Troubleshoot login problems, application access issues, and peripheral device connectivity.

Project Involvement (optional):

• Participate in IT infrastructure upgrade projects and implement new technologies.

• Work collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a systems administration role.

• Strong understanding of server administration, operating systems, and storage technologies.

• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.

• Working knowledge of network concepts and TCP/IP protocols is beneficial.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
