Philips Senior Marketing Communications Manager, Personal Health (Hybrid - Mississauga) in Mississauga, Ontario

This role is key to ensure a strong voice for Canada is present and the nuances on consumer needs and behaviours are fully reflected on our brand & plans engagement with our Canadian consumers .

This position plays an important role in coordinating and articulating the work between cross-function teams, including but not exclusively, activation, media, owned properties, consumer and shopper insights team, marketing, sales teams and our global Marketing and Sales center of Excellence.

Your role:

  • Lead and Own creation and implementation of Canada Omnichannel 360 Activation strategy

  • Lead and own relation between Integrated Agency Team and other external partners

  • Owns translation business briefs into activation briefs

  • Represents Canada in all regional retailer meetings and Regional Internal meetings

  • Oversees omnichannel retail strategy and plans and Works closely with internal and agency design team to ensure all content needs for Canada are met (media, in-store, digital and owned properties)

  • Responsible for budget management, PO creation and invoices approval and Owns the on-going optimization tracking media performance for all the touch-points.

  • Responsible to work collaboratively with the Consumer & Shopper insights team to incorporate consumer needs or gaps into actionable plans with consumers

You're the right fit if:

  • A Bachelor degree (business, marketing, or similar).

  • At least 8 years’ experience preferably across CPG, agency, digital and Experience in multi-media touchpoints delivering against business goals.

  • Has a consumer/shopper-first mindset and a passion to create best – in – class campaigns, an eye for details and excellence in execution and optimizations.

  • Has knowledge and understanding of the Canadian media and retail environment and understands what drives/triggers engagement and conversion through the consumer journey

  • Excellent understanding of media full funnel activation, metrics and impact of plans in different phases into overall brand strength. Agility to pivot quickly, when necessary, based on new data sets.

The pay range for this position is $96,000 to $151,000. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. ​

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions aredependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
