Location : Mounds View, MN

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Meeting planning and coordination, including Webinars.

  • Travel and Expense Management

  • Act as an information resource on departmental organizational policies and procedures.

  • Multi-task and manage through issues proactively.

  • Review available information regarding various topics, summarize, and debrief appropriate staff.

  • Plan and execute physician visits (in person, virtual, video. Includes interaction with physicians for scheduling and logistics.

  • Provide support for physician contracts.

  • Provide administrative support for Directors including calendar, travel and document/presentation creation.

  • Use problem solving techniques, tact, and discretion when handling telephone calls, email requests, processing transactions, and managing other requests.

  • Coordinate administrative duties for the department including processing of HR changes, facilities coordination, ordering supplies as requested.

  • Interfaces with Human Resources in managing the process for hiring, on-boarding and off-boarding employees.

  • Upon request create purchase requisitions for goods/services.

Must Have (Minimum Requirements)

  • Requires advanced practical knowledge within a specific discipline typically gained through extensive work experience and/or education.

  • Requires minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have ( Preferred Qualifications )

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 4 years of administrative/project coordination experience.

  • Prior Medtronic experience highly preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with web-based systems including SharePoint.

  • Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with collaboration software including Microsoft Teams and Zoom

  • Ability to set priorities and resolve issues independently, strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to relate to diverse communities and levels, strong customer service orientation.

  • Capable of working on multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline driven environment – demonstrated skill under pressure.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong energy, aptitude, and attitude for continuous improvement

  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency.
