Kellanova Senior National Account Executive in Nashville, Tennessee

As a Senior National Account Executive , you will lead and own the responsibility of driving profitable business growth within high-volume categories as you influence all customer purchasing. Your outstanding business acumen, exceptional selling skills, and effective communication will be pivotal to meeting revenue goals for our company and your customers. You ’ ll work closely with key customer contacts, all while continuing to build your successful career in a thriving company culture and a world of opportunity. The location for this position is a preference in the Nashville area. Distance of one hour from a major airport may be considered.

A s an integral part of the Kellanova team, you’ll create sales solutions driven by consumer insights and maximize the growth strategy for your account—all while building your expertise and network. This position provides participation in the Kellanova Auto Reimbursement program for individuals driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.

A Taste of What You’ll be Doing

  • Developing Accounts – Serve as the primary contact for category buyers, creating annual account-level Joint Business Plans. You’ll set objectives to support all brands through merchandising, promotions, advertising, shelf space, pricing, and new products.

  • Establishing Strategic Partnerships – Educate and develop rapport with internal and external customers, promoting partnerships, seeking feedback, and proactively addressing customer needs and requests. We’ll look to you to make our customer relationships even better.

  • Develop Learning Agendas, Strategies, Plans and Analyze – Analytic foundation and strong understanding of shopper and consumer insights needed to develop 3-5 year customer strategies. Agility in creating, and re-creating plans as you analyze pre- and post-promotion performance and revise future programs as necessary. Knowing your business will be imperative in driving sales growth!

  • Managing Budgets – Achieve key profit and loss metrics through delivering on account-level priorities, JBP commitments, distribution gains, participating in both demand and trade strategy/planning, carefully monitoring spending, and making proactive corrections to adhere to planning accuracy goals.

  • Understanding of Customer Service/Order to Delivery – I n this role you will be the key contact between your buyer, demand chain, and your customer delivery team to ensure the correct quantities are ordered on trucks, delivered on-time, to maximize the sales and ensure that communication does not stop until the customer receives the product.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Experience in sales, marketing, category management, or consumer marketing.

  • Top national account customer experience and head quarter penetration (in either a direct selling or partnership resource capacity, such as marketing or category management.

  • Consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience.

  • Advanced project and process skillset, including experience with profit and loss statements and financial analysis.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and a dvanced negotiation skills.

  • Ability to thrive with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints.
