Media Pre-Sales Marketing Manager

Location: New York, NY

Join us as our newest Media Pre-Sales Marketing Manager (media go-to-market / integrated marketing) and help change the world of real estate, one home at a time .

In this role on our Consumer Media team, you will lead our media presale functions. You will be responsible for leading the development of sales marketing materials, quickly and creatively building RFP responses and proactive pitches. Your work will include writing and concepting pitches, concepting sales events/conferences and gifting, leading our media sales research function, working as part of a go-to-market team on new sales product launches, leading the development of large internal presentations, connecting with colleagues in the product, marketing and creative studio groups to build consensus. Our growing Consumer Media department fosters a culture of innovation and creativity.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the development of Consumer Media sales materials including the general presentation and category one sheets, working with the Integrated Marketing Specialist on our pre-sale team.

  • Be an expert in defining the value proposition for direct sold digital media on Realtor.com

  • Provide our clients and prospects with white-glove service throughout the RFP response process - from requests through brainstorming and delivery. Evaluate the success of our RFP responses.

  • Participate in cross-functional go-to-market teams exploring new media revenue opportunities

  • Ensure flawless execution of conference live events and client gathering and gifting.

  • Continuously improve through feedback

How we work

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in advertising/marketing, English or communications

  • Must have 8+ years of experience working on a media sales team in a pre-sales role (sales development, integrated marketing, go-to-market, ad solutions, B2B media marketing), with at least two years in digital media

  • Must have rich experience in communicating big ideas to clients - large and small - who are active buyers of media. Need to be a strong storyteller

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

  • Experienced in slide design, preferably deeply experienced in Google Slides

  • Must have significant media research experience in a tool like Comscore and/or MRI Simmons.

  • Skilled in working in spreadsheets including formulas

  • Proven track record of collaboration and working effectively in complex, cross-functional situations including experience working with product and creative teams

  • Comfortable working with a high volume of requests, managing multiple projects at the same time with quick project turnaround and deadlines.

  • Knowledge of the consumer real estate and lifestyle publishing industry is a plus

  • Working knowledge of affiliate/ecommerce or video monetization a plus

The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect in the listed locations. We tailor our offers based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process. All ranges are location based, ranges for positions in other locations may vary based on the local market.

Salary Range for select office locations

  • New York $124,050 to $176,750

Pay-for-performance is a key element in our strategy to attract, engage, and motivate talented people to do their best work. Accordingly, offers extended for this role will include an annual bonus target typically expressed as percentage of salary. Similarly to salary, annual incentive bonus targets are set based on a variety of factors including job level, competitive market practice, experience, tenure, and essential skills.
