Enhance proprietary electronic trading systems and tools to support new products and algorithms. Provide realtime streaming analytics and trade intelligence to enhance trading performance. Oversee communication and collaboration with the research and trading teams to design and deliver innovative and high-quality solutions. Provide day-to-day support for applications and the underlying infrastructure.Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of experience in the position offered or in kdb+/q development. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Programming with C, C++, Python or Java in Windows or Linux; Distributed Computing, Platform Development, Networking, System Design or Web Development techniques; Object-oriented analysis and design; Data structures, algorithms and computer architecture paradigms; Working with electronic trading markets for financial products including equities, fixed income or similar; and Developing high performance analytics of market data.
