Contribute to the design, development, test and operational excellence. Participate in design and code reviews, breaking down and estimating work, and selecting and incorporating appropriate tools and frameworks for the job. Create and refine designs in collaboration with product owners, managers, and peers. Use in-depth analysis of product behavior to propose/build features that improve performance, reduce bottlenecks, and optimize resource usage. Troubleshoot issues in technically challenging code across front-end and back-end layers. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or three (3) years of experience in the job offered.A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).Special Skill Requirements: (1) Gathering and identifying project requirements to develop technical solutions that meet customer and stakeholder expectations; (2) Developing software in a GNU Linux/Unix environment; (3) Deploying software with the Docker container framework, including converting existing enterprise software to work in Docker containers.; (4) Managing the delivery of technical projects from design to release, including customer interaction and post-release management; (5) Administering and configuring software development tools; (6) Java; (7) Python; (8) Kubernetes.
