Job Description

Insight Global Health is looking for a skilled Mammo/Stereo Technician to join one of its' healthcare clients in the Fort Myers/Naples/Bonita Springs, FL area. This candidate will be responsible for:

-Greeting patients by confirming patient identification; reviewing imaging request; checking for special instructions; confirming anticipated service with patients

-Properly positioning patients for mammography scans and operating equipment for scans

-Maintaining production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures; developing mammograms; observing mammogram results; determining necessary adjustments for optimum results

-Documenting patient mammogram services by completing patient record charting

Skills and Requirements

-Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program

-possess current ARRT

-FL state license and CPR certification

-proficient in stereotactic biopsies utilizing a 2D and 3D upright/Prone tables

-proficient in wire localizations, performing and documenting QC, screening and diagnostic protocols. -At least 2 years of experience in Mammo/Stereo preferred null
