Develop and implement environmental policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate environmental risks. Lead initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of company operations, including waste reduction, recycling, and energy conservation programs. Experience with the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Department of Transportation/Hazardous Materials, Toxic Substances Control Act, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, standards, conditions, and guidelines pertaining to environmental compliance within the energy industry, including water, waste, and air management. Mathematical - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning - High skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer - To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Technical Ability - Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with ISO14001 and ISO45001. Experience with testing equipment.
