JOB SUMMARY :

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager - SPARK to join the Spark RD&T team that is responsible for the design, development of manufacturing process and required software for the orthodontic appliances. You will support the development of SPARK manufacturing processes. This is a highly visible role, requiring an experienced leader with strong technical skills across process development and a will to learn the digital orthodontic business; skilled at communicating with all levels of the company.

As Technical Program Manager, SPARK, you will lead a cross-functional team through creating the roadmap, managing the backlog, defining the functional relation and interfaces between the SPARK manufacturing equipment, software applications that it requires, and various subsystems. The TPM will be responsible for leading the team through all the steps involved in the manufacturing software development cycle as well as machinery development. We are looking for a leader who is a great communicator and a collaborator, who drives the project by setting examples. The person who has demonstrated success in leading large complex projects and brings clarity to the group.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading the development of SPARK manufacturing hardware and software .

  • Lead and contribute to the strategic direction and define roadmap for the manufacturing process.

  • Spearhead all user documentation as mandated by global regulatory agencies and engineering standard methodologies.

  • Owning integration between requirements and development, identify risks and provide mitigation.

  • Manage cross-functional dependencies.

  • Identify requirements by collaborating with stakeholders (R&D, Product management, RA/QE, Operations sites, PMO) including User Needs. Be able to distill complex topics into clear communications to program stakeholders

  • Establish best practices which enables the measure of key performance indicators to ensure success.

  • Coordinating and working with a global team in different time zones.

  • Ensure resource needs are established and fulfilled

  • Take part in user interviews

  • Analyze data to inform business decisions

  • Communicate with other software product teams (R&D) to evaluate cross-functional impact, identify dependencies and plan for end-to-end integration of new features

  • Decompose business requirements into features and user stories

  • Write user stories (incl. acceptance criteria and use cases)

  • Help develop metrics which would help drive business decisions

  • Communicate with ERP developers and users to fully understand design specifications

  • Participate in backlog grooming sessions and feature discussions

  • Participate in development planning and release planning

  • Support and guide an RD&T team in developing features according to specified requirements

  • Produce reports on application development and implementation status

  • Prepare and update hardware and software release documentation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics fields or equivalent relevant work experience

  • 5+ years experience as a technical program manager, leading complex process development projects, with a track record of successful releases on time.

  • Experience in process definition/improvements, program management, tools.

  • Experience in team leadership, decision making, and presenting to groups.

  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Experience in dental/orthodontics and medical devices highly preferred.

  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
