​​​As Manager, Product Transfer you will own defined project elements across multiple projects and have responsibility for managing Project Managers & Engineers tasked with the effective delivery of product transfer projects. You will have responsibility for the project, people management and the technical assessment of all assigned projects elements including associated timelines, quality requirements within budgetary constraints. You will be the lead representative from the Product Transfer organization responsible for the Medical Division Product Transfer pipeline delivery.

What You Will Do:

  • Be an effective partner across all functions within divisional and GQO organizations to drive the creation of a sustainable Product Transfer pipeline in line with the Medical Division and Product Transfer needs.

  • Actively partner with the adequate divisional and GQO functions to effectively deliver projects in line with the Medical division and Product Transfer pipelines.

  • Critically assess product transfer charters & financial plans to extrapolate key deliverables such as staffing, technical challenges resolution, projected savings, and supply requirements

  • Link with broader Product Transfer team on common product transfer issues and resolutions.

  • Responsible for the implementation, enforcement and compliance of all relevant quality, regulatory and safety standards.

  • Partner with HR in identifying, acquiring top talent while developing and retaining talent within the team.

  • Provide direction to the team in complex or difficult situations, remove obstacles, assign appropriate resources and interface with other functions to assist with issue resolution.

  • Establish priorities imparting a sense of urgency and importance to effectively deliver product transfers per quality, cost and time constraints.

  • Sets overall group goals and priorities and evaluates subordinate's performance based on those goals/priorities

  • All other duties as assigned.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related business discipline required

  • 8+ years' experience in technical and/or project management roles required

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and presentation skills essential required

  • Previous leadership/ people management experience required

  • Demonstrated leadership, project management and engineering experience in production, process development or R&D, ideally in a strongly regulatory environment required

  • Experience of GD&T, process mapping, statistical methods and process/ product validations - highly preferred
