We are looking for an entry level mobile engineer to help create the best in class mobile experience for eBay Motors. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating apps consumers love!

We are the eBay Motors App team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a world leader in mobile commerce and directly impact the lives of a car buyers and sellers.

This position is responsible for making direct contributions to implement scalable technical solutions, enabling us to deliver the best in class app experience on time in a quickly evolving environment. You bring a strong technical education, a willingness to learn and a desire to work with a team of mobile developers.


  • Implement new features in the eBay Motors app.

  • Contribute to code reviews, refactoring, and improve build and test solutions and approaches.

  • See opportunities and find solutions to scale mobile development and product delivery.

  • Ensure high code quality, maintainability and scalability by evolving our architecture and tech stack.

  • Constantly seek opportunities to improve both product delivery, testing and CI processes.

  • Supervise and monitor ongoing iOS and Android delivery.

  • Work in collaboration with Product Owners, UX, other Team Leads and Engineers

  • Participate in technical team-wide discussions.

  • Cultivate continuous knowledge transfer in the team

  • Promote habits and practices that develop team cohesiveness.

  • Inspire others with your passion for mobile development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of S.O.L.I.D. development concepts.

  • Ability to collaborate with other engineers in a fast paced, agile team.

  • Desire to learn from senior mobile engineers and architects.

  • Bonus: Experience with Google’s Flutter development SDK

  • Bonus: Experience with the Dart programming language

  • Bonus: Experience or knowledge with Android/iOS SDKs

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge.

  • Excellent communication skills.
