HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT: 

The Senior Marketing Manager (North America) will work cross-functionally to lead and support day-to-day development and execution of 360 marketing campaigns for Oregon Tool products and brands. The Senior Marketing Manager will drive product adoption, customer growth and brand awareness through their assigned channels. The ideal candidate is highly-collaborative with a strategic mindset, strong creative point-of-view, and deep passion for outdoor products and power tools. They demonstrate a deep understanding of customers, product portfolio, strong business acumen, and ability to handle conflicting priorities.

THE DETAILS: 

Channel Marketing Activities (50%) –

  • Account Planning: This includes identifying target markets, assessing competitive landscapes, and setting clear objectives to achieve business goals.

  • Channel Marketing: Optimize marketing playbooks that drive sales leads in the distributor, retail and OEM channels. Work cross-functionally to get those plans “off the ground”.

  • Lead Co-op program: Lead marketing and merchandising efforts for N. American Distributor channel, including planning and maintaining annual marketing plans and finding co-op eligible activities.

  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with digital marketing team on website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising. Utilize data analytics and market research to optimize digital marketing strategies for maximum effectiveness.

  • Traditional Marketing: Develop and execute traditional marketing initiatives such as print advertising, direct mail campaigns, trade shows, and other promotional events to reach target audiences effectively.

  • Creation of Line Review Presentations and Store Set Planograms, in conjunction with product teams and sales.

    Product Marketing Activities (40%) –

  • Product Marketing: Lead the development and execution of product marketing campaigns for new product launches and existing product lines.

  • Collaborate closely with product management teams to understand product features, benefits, and unique selling points.

    Budget Management and Brand Consistency (10%) –

  • Budget Management: You’ll find new ways to maximize our marketing budget. You’ll closely track expenses against plan.

  • Metric-development: Find and track key metrics and KPIs while recognizing initiatives that aren’t working and the ability to quickly pivot.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a senior management position.

  • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in retail, distributor or OEM marketing, with a preference for experience in the outdoor power equipment industry.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate teams and collaborate across departments.

  • Prior experience creating and presenting business proposals to internal stakeholders, C-level executives, and retail buyers.

  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Strong project management knowledge, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    REQUIRED TRAVEL:20-30% customer travel within US & Canada per year (up to two weeks' in duration)

    For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Oregon Tool is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,000 to $145,000.
