Eaton Corporation Senior Financial Analyst in Pune, India

What you’ll do:

• The financial analyst will work collaboratively with Eaton Center R&A Team at Cleveland, Ohio. The Analyst will oversee and execute processes necessary to plan, record, analyze and report on the financial conditions of the function. This person will also be involved in the development of senior management presentations.

• Professional will also support Eaton Center R&A team in routine financial analysis & reporting as required. Assignments will include planned and ad hoc projects

• This position would be an Individual Contributor.

A. Financial Analysis & Reporting for the Eaton Centre Reporting and Analysis Team:

  • Provide support to Global corporate function by gathering, analyzing and consolidating financial data.

  • Will be responsible for partnering with the Reporting & Analysis team in Cleveland, OH - US and functional team to develop and coordinate profit plans, monthly actuals/forecasts, allocations, goals and objectives.

  • Performs the month end close processes including journal entries, actuals tracking and reporting, as well as monthly forecasting.

  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations (Intercompany validations, asset capitalizations, standard accruals)

  • Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial results, including variance analysis and commentary.

  • Assist in annual Profit Planning process.

Qualifications:

• Accounting major (B. Com) & CA/ICWA/CFA/MBA (Finance), preferable.

• 8-10 years of FP&A and accounting experience.

Skills:

• Excellent Analytical skills to interpret Financial data, Written and oral communication skills.

• Manufacturing industry experience (pre-requisite).

• Proficiency with MS-Office – particularly Excel, Power Point, Word and other reporting tools

• Working Knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools – ORACLE, SAP, ENCORE, Power BI

• Experience with Oracle Financials and SAP preferred

• Adaptable to varying cultures.

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to summarize findings and present solutions.

• Good interpersonal skills – ability to work with all levels of the organization.

• Act as a business partner to Segment, divisions, and headquarters

• Dealing with ambiguity about changes in regulations/external requirements

• Systematic process orientation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
