Job Summary:

Raytheon is looking for a engineer to join our world-class team as a Senior Software Engineer - Product Owner. In this role, you will define and prioritize team backlog and serve as the customer proxy for working with product management and other stakeholders to translate needs into viable design solutions .

This position is located onsite in Richardson, Texas (Cityline)

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture.

  • Demonstrate your critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance and pass polygraph.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of engineering experience.

  • Experience with Java Development.

  • Experience with container orchestration products such as Kubernetes or Apache OpenShift.

  • Experience using Python.

  • Experience with Agile and/or DevSecOps toolsets (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, etc.)

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.

  • CSPO certification.

  • Experience with OpenShift and Helm

  • Experience with Golang.

  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).

  • Experience with AWS Cloud Technologies.

  • Experience with Kong API Gateway.

  • Understanding of the GEOINT Needs and Collection Management domain.

  • Experienced working with a geographically distributed team.

  • Ability to support limited business travel for customer meetings.

    This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
