Senior Software Development Engineer in Test for Rhythm Management Group, Corp. Position will primarily telecommute but requires occasional presence in Rockville, MD HQ office. Build test automation framework to execute automated test scripts using AI. Create high-performance automated tests. Execute prior regression test scripts during sprint development cycle . Document automation framework instructions, set up test data + configure test environments. Work with team developers to analyze + resolve defects. Improve + automate test automation processes + procedures. Coordinate + perform tests at QC development stage. Gather information re: product materials + components. Draft proposals for test programs + operating process, + outline test conditions. Test new products, + development systems to gather digital data during testing. Study testing data + evaluate results. Identify problems with new products, + make adjustments/recommendations to resolve problems. Continue testing + analysis until results are within product requirements + specifics. Draft technical reports to present findings + recommend product modifications as needed. Develop QC test process to incorporate into regular production process. Define, implement + lead overall testing strategy for software platform. May undergo background checks. Must have bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related Engineering or other related field and 7 years related experience in software testing, Quality Assurance, and test engineering. Also requires skills (7 years experience) in: coding and scripting for test automation development; developing test approach and design from existing and new system architecture; working with automated test frameworks and libraries; using commercial pipeline systems; Scrum methodologies; improving testing with new automation tools, languages, or methodologies; bug tracking/story/task management; preparing test reports and proposals.
