Job Description:

We are working with a great client to find a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager! The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in month-end close processes. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and have a proven track record of managing and developing a team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.

• Support external audit activities and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required, Master's degree preferred.

• CPA certification is a plus or CPA eligible.

• 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.

• Experience with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation.

• Previous management or supervisory experience is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
