We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to build robust and scalable software, help improve our code services and system architecture, participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products, and work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and deliver results. As a core participant of your team, you’ll estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues. Be a highly technical coder.
Incorporate quality and secure computing practices in every phase of software development process
Communicate cross-functionally and work closely with the broader eBay teams ensuring partner engagementA portfolio or work samples demonstrating coding skills
Expertise in building secure, scalable web services. Doing so in JAVA, a plus!
Experience building responsive and adaptive designed pages
Desire to build innovative user experiences that balance business needs and customer expectations.
Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering,
Master’s Degree or Equivalent (nice to have)
