Description

Growing and well-established FAMILY LAW FIRM IN SEATTLE is seeking a dynamic PARALEGAL to join their team. This is a vital role supporting attorneys and clients through various legal matters, including divorce/legal separations, custody, parenting plans, and more. This firm offers a very flexible hybrid remote schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage assigned family law case files, including calendaring deadlines, scheduling appointments (court appearances, mediations, depositions), and ensuring timely completion of all tasks.

• Draft legal documents, including petitions, declarations, motions, discovery responses and requests.

• Prepare trial notebooks, organize exhibits, and assist attorneys in hearing, mediation, and trial preparation.

• Calculate child support and spousal maintenance using established guidelines.

• Assist with the division of marital assets and debts.

• Communicate with clients.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; participation in the company's 401(k) plan with 4% employer contribution and paid holidays and 15 days paid time off per calendar year.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of Washington State family law experience.

• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.

• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and a team player.
