Amazon Senior Product Manager, Licensed Sports in Seattle, Washington

Description

Amazon is looking for a self-driven, team-oriented, and passionate Senior Product Manager to join the Licensed Sports team. The Licensed Sports team is responsible for retail partnerships and selection expansion with professional leagues (e.g. NFL, NBA, NHL) and collegiate properties (e.g. NCAA) on Amazon.

The Senior Product Manager will work cross-functionally with category teams, business development, and tech to build the vision and requirements for an immersive suite of experiences for sports fans and teams alike. You will define innovative features and work across teams to deliver them within an aggressive and phased product roadmap. The Senior Product Manager needs to be willing to roll their sleeves up and juggle competing priorities to deliver results on behalf of customers (both internal and external).

A day in the life

Collect insights on customers, sports teams, and market segment trends to support data-based decision making

Define and implement an iterative product development process

Collaborate with category teams and other internal and external partners to define and deliver the product vision

Translating the customer experience into a logically sequenced and optimized product roadmap

Writing complete and detailed product requirements and ensuring clear communication of those requirements to the business, design, and development teams

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
